Making Christmas crackers

Today at school we made Christmas crackers and designed cookies. With the Christmas crackers we got to put a voucher in the cracker we wrote  peoples names on it  and something we would  do for them. I made mine for my best friend Mackenzie and on the voucher I write a forever friend because shes leaving this year. Then we got to pick a present, joke, candy cane and a little chocolate. Then we got some wrapping paper and tied it in a bow. After that we went in to the kitchen and decorated some cookies. They look super yummy. Have you made Christmas crackers? Art smart

This week we did art smart. We had to take photos of something with water on it. Then we edited them so they looked cooler.  Have you ever edited a photo before?

Logic smart

 Today in topic 2 groups did logic smart first we had to read 3 pages of writing about bridges, then we had two write 10 facts about the writing. But the sentences had to have numbers in them. We didn't finish all the facts. After that we got to make a bridge out of Popsicle sticks, modelling clay, pva glue and pipe cleaners.

In the holiday

In the holiday I went to my Dads house near Nelson. We did lots of stuff there, we rid the horses a lot. It was also my little sisters birthday so we had lots of fun. She had 3 cakes!!

Te Kinga walk and swim

On Thursday the 8th of April my class climbed up a mountain called Mt Te Kinga. We also went swimming at Iveagh bay after the walk. We went to the third lookout. This is a photo of the whole class with a huge tree we found on the way. I loved the walk. Have you climbed Mt Te Kinga?
